A resident of La Plata fell for the illusion of acquiring top-of-the-line technology products at a low cost by purchasing what is known as a "Mystery Box." The sealed package is sold online and promoted by influencers. With packing tapes bearing the "Amazon Prime" multinational's insignia, Patricia made the purchase online and received her order a few days later. Once she opened the box, she was deeply disappointed: "I only found a two-light street lamp, and on top of that, it didn't work," she said, disappointed and sad about the situation. In this context, she sent this medium images of what was offered versus what she received. "I was partly naive for believing it, and now I'm asking for this to be known so that it doesn't happen to anyone else," she requested.
